The technical committee for the unified form project held its fourth meeting yesterday, Wednesday morning at the Emirates ID’ Operation Center headed by His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Emirates ID’s Executive Director of Communications & Information Systems to discuss the most prominent improvements related to the unified form project, its work mechanism and reviewing achievement stages in light of the new registration strategy.
The meeting discussed the new registration strategy for the purpose of reaching a joint vision on the unified form project, its work mechanism and roles assigned to the authorities related to this project which include: Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labor, Department of Naturalization and Residence and Health Authority.
His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Emirates ID’s Executive Director of Communications & Information Systems indicated that the main goal of the unified form is to unify the procedures among various ministries, authorities and governmental establishments, pointing out that the unified form will contribute to saving efforts; mitigating work load and facilitating the process for registering citizens and residents in the Population Register & Identity Card System.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior representatives stressed the importance of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Labor, Department of Naturalization & Residence and Health Authority (Preventive Medicine) in order to activate the unified form model; observe the accuracy and validity of data; and to fulfill all conditions and requirements related the identity card.
