H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, who is also chairman of the steering committee for the project of registration in preventive medicine centers and linking ID card registration procedures to residence, has praised the working team’s diligent effort and role in launching and making a success of the linkage process in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
Al Khouri did so during his chairmanship of the regular meeting of the committee, which was held in the head office of the Emirates Identity Authority and was attended by the representatives of EIMAS for electronic management and security solutions, which is carrying out the project of developing the population register system and the registration of the population in the preventive medicine centers. The meeting was also attended by the committee members and Gemalto representatives in addition to the representatives of a number of infrastructure services companies.
The meeting discussed the time schedule for operating the remaining centers in the project for linkage with residence and preventive medicine procedures. It also discussed the time schedule for developing the infrastructure of technological systems, the date of arrival and operation of the new printers and a number of issues related to the security and safety of employees and the approval of health prevention procedures in registration centers.
It is worthwhile that the project of registration in preventive medicine centers is aimed at developing the population register system, raising the production capacity of ID card issuance rate and increasing the daily rates of registration in ID card and population register through the registration centers annexed to the preventive medicine centers and the Emirates ID-affiliated registration centers.
