It did not come to the mind of Mrs. Hester Mary Sashmar from South Africa that the slip that led her to the main building of the Emirates Identity Authority to renew her ID card would be one of the wonderful slips in her life and would be engraved in her mind for a long time.
Talking to the Emirates Identity Authority’s delegation, Hester Mary said: “I came to renew my expired ID card. I thought that the registration center was located in Mazyad Mall but discovered that I arrived in the main building of the Emirates Identity Authority instead of the registration center.”
She added: “I was very lucky to meet H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, who thankfully provided the necessary support to renew my ID card. The happy surprise was in the Emirates Identity Authority’s great initiative of sending the mobile registration vehicle to my house to complete renewal of my card.”
Hester Mary expressed her sincere appreciation of the kind visit that the Emirates Identity Authority’s delegation paid to her house to hand the ID card over to her in addition to a bouquet of flowers from Musaffah Registration Center and token gifts from the Public Relations and Marketing Department.
The Emirates Identity Authority’s delegation consisted of Nada Al Suwaidi, First Marketing Administrator, Farooq Al Jabri, Marketing Administrator, and Fairouz Al Jabri, Registration Administrator at Musaffah Center.
