Sharjah Residency receives a Bahraini delegation

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah on Monday morning (March, 06, 2023) received a visiting delegation from the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain to learn about the system of smart services provided by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security in the field of residence and foreigners affairs, in addition to discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation was received by Major General Arif Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, while the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain was headed by Saud Hassan Al Nisf, Consul General of the Kingdom to the country.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Ahmed Numan, Colonel Hazeem Al Shamsi, and Captain Saeed Al Mansouri from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation.
On this occasion, His Excellency Major General Arif Al Shamsi praised the historical relations and social bonds between the UAE and Bahrain, pointing to the keenness of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security to strengthen the strategic partnership with the relevant institutions in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and to facilitate the movement of travelers between the two countries and overcome any obstacles facing Bahraini citizens during their presence in the UAE, as well as exchanging expertise and successful experiences in the field of developing the residency system and foreign affairs in light of the great boom witnessed by the two brotherly countries, in implementation of the wise directives of the leadership of the two countries.
