The Sharjah Registration Center has organized the “40th National Day Operetta” in co-operation with the Al Qarayen Kindergarten and Al Andalus School. The operetta, which was attended by a number of residents at the Old People House of Sharjah, comes as part of Sharjah Registration Center’s contribution to the UAE celebrations of its 40th National Day.

The operetta was organized with the aim of enhancing communication and collaboration among the different social categories as well as bringing happiness and joy to the hearts of the elderly and helping them take part in the national, social and cultural programs, said the management of Sharjah Registration Center.

The management underlined its keenness on taking part in the UAE celebrations of its 40th National Day, which started all over the UAE from November 1.

The event is based on an initiative by the employees of Sharjah Registration Center, who wanted to express their feelings of pride of the significant achievements that the UAE accomplished at all levels, and is in line with the belief of the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees in the importance of the UAE and its National Day, the management said. It is also based on the keenness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s family on celebrating the National Day in an atmosphere that reflects the spirit of patriotism, pride, cohesion and loyalty, the management added.

During the activities held yesterday in the new headquarters of Sharjah Registration Center in Al Rahmaniya, token gifts were given to the children and their teachers as well as the old people and guests. Popular foods were also served to the participants and attendees.

The activities were attended by H.E. Mohammed Al Harthy, Acting Executive Director
of Registration Centers at the Emirates Identity Authority, Mr. Ismael Fadlallah, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates, and a number of Emirates Identity Authority’s directors and employees.
