The Services Section at the Emirates Identity Authority started organizing training workshops for the employees of the Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated registration centers with the aim of developing the employees’ skills in implementing evacuation schemes in emergency cases, particularly fires.
The Services Section at Musaffah Registration Center, in co-operation with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Section, today organized the first training workshop in this connection. The workshop, titled “Prevention, safety, first aid and minor firefighting operations”, saw the participation of the employees of Musaffah and Al Wahda registration centers.
The workshop featured the participation of the employees of both registration centers in a number of activities such as minor firefighting operations at the outdoor yard of the center.
The Services Section affirmed that this initiative would be implemented in all Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated registration centers in the upcoming period with the aim of enhancing the employees’ awareness and ability to respond to crises and emergencies and training them in properly handling such incidents in terms of psychological readiness or the ability to take the right decision, thereby maintaining the safety of the center’s employees and visitors and minimizing human losses whenever possible.
