H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Chairman of the Supreme Local Organizing Committee of the AFC Asian Cup “UAE 2019” honored the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship for its valuable contribution to the success of the tournament events and keeping everything perfect.
This took place during the honoring ceremony, which was made by the committee organizing the tournament. In this ceremony, the volunteers, groups, and committees participating in organizing the tournament, which was hosted by UAE from 5 January 2019 to 1 February 2019, were honored.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his pride in the great success achieved by UAE in hosting the tournament. He highlighted the significant admiration of both FIFA and AFC of UAE, as it dazzled the world by hosting this tournament for the second time in its history.
He further commended the unique role and sincere efforts exerted by the volunteers and groups, as well as by the national committees, entities, and organizations participating in the event, throughout the tournament, especially that they proved high professionalism and competence.
