Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) and Dubai Department for Residency and Foreign Affairs discussed the means of mutual cooperation in issues and fields of mutual interest, especially those related to the Population Register and ID Card Project.
Discussions took place during the reception by H.E. Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of DNRD of an Emirates ID delegation comprising Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Deputy Chairman of Emirates ID’s Higher Management Committee and H.E. Eng Nasser Mohamed Al Mazouie, Executive Manager of Telecommunications and Information Systems.
H.E. Major General Al Marri reviewed the details of the institutional development project currently execution by Emirates ID which comprises the new registration plan and its vision, objectives and stages of execution.
Both sides discussed the components of the new strategy, its mechanism, and the steps to be initiated soon by Emirates ID, which include building positive and efficient partnerships with all Emirates ID stakeholders, in order to provide them with high quality services and meet all their requirements.
Emirates ID stressed that it is among its priorities to build and boost bridges of cooperation with all government and private authorities and organizations, in order to finalize the registration of all UAE nationals and residents in the ID and Population Register Program, so that such authorities would be able to benefit from the ID card in the best possible manner.
