His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, received Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Director General of the Media Office of Dubai Government in order to strengthen the bonds of cooperation in the media sector and to reflect on the most important issues in this regard. During the visit, in which she was accompanied by Dr. Maitha Bu Hamid, Director of Dubai Press Club, and Omar Al Marzouqi, Director of the News Center, they made an inspection tour through which they were briefed on the work system, as they praised the efforts of all employees in Dubai Residency, praising those efforts that resulted in conveying a positive image of the Emirate of Dubai.
Al-Marri praised the efforts of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, which played a pivotal role in the huge events and exhibitions by completing transactions and entry permits at a record speed, and providing services with high efficiency, and by simplifying procedures, which reflected positively on the reputation of the Emirates and Dubai globally.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Marri said, in line with the visions of the UAE visionary leadership to support and encourage the media, we are keen to enhance the media presence as an integral part of our annual strategy, appreciating the pivotal role of the Dubai Government Media Office and the Dubai Press Club in supporting sustainable development. He attributed the achievements and successes of Dubai Residency in the past years to the collective efforts based on the principle of one team spirit, which culminated in the support of various print, audio and visual media, led by the Dubai Government Media Office, which marked its presence, putting its distinctive mark on the outputs of creative media work.
He said that this visit aims to consolidate the strategic partnership relationship that links Dubai Residency with the media sector in the country, especially the Media Office of the Government of Dubai, which contributed to the development of media content and the upgrading of its role as a fundamental pillar of the sustainable development process.
