The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security held an informative workshop via video communication technology targeting photography service providers from all emirates of the country. The aim of the workshop is to provide them with the requirements and standards for accepting personal photos of individuals on the authority’s smart systems in accordance with the recently updated standards regarding the inclusion of pictures during the electronic submission stages for residence permits and ID cards applications.
This workshop came as a continuation of the authority’s efforts towards enhancing customers’ happiness by enabling flexible access to obtain the latest standards for photographs in accordance with the parameters of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO); and that is when taking the photographs by service providers in preparation for supporting the steps of inserting personal photos when electronically submitting applications.
The workshop was chaired by Brigadier General Suhail Jumaa Al Khaili, Acting Director General of Identity and Passports, and in the presence of Brigadier General Khalifa Matar Balquba Al Himiri, Acting Executive Director of Customer Happiness Centers, Lt. Col. Omar Al Mazeina, Director of Identity and Citizenship Department in Dubai, and a number of directors of departments, centers and stakeholders.
