The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship participated in the celebration of “Earth Hour 2019”, which was celebrated by the world last Saturday, by switching off the lights and unnecessary electrical devices in the buildings of its departments and customer happiness centers all over the state, to save energy consumption and participate in raising the awareness about the climate change phenomena.
ICA participating in such event came in the framework of its keenness to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and its commitment to the UAE’s approach in supporting and encouraging all local and international initiatives aimed at preserving and maintaining the environment to provide the best living standards for the present and future generations and reduce the impact of human activities on natural resources, especially water and air, which contribute to protecting the planet from the emissions of gases that cause the phenomenon of climate change.
ICA’s efforts in this regard include raising the awareness of its employees and customers of the importance of following attitudes and practices that contribute to reducing the waste of energy and water consumption, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment in the UAE and worldwide.
