The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security has affirmed its commitment to facilitate and simplify procedures for correcting statuses during the grace period for settling violations, which ends on October 31. This allows beneficiaries to take advantage of the benefits offered during this period, including exemption from fines and the avoidance of an entry ban upon leaving the country.

His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili ,stressed that the Authority will intensify inspection campaigns against violators across the country, in coordination with government partners, and take legal measures against those found in violation after the grace period ends, including reinstating previous fines for those who failed to correct their status during the given timeframe.

His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili noted that less than 24 days remain in the grace period, urging offenders to seize this opportunity to rectify their statuses, either by safely leaving without receiving an entry ban upon re-entry into the country, or by obtaining a job contract, securing a new residency, and living and working legally in the state.

He stated that the work teams are studying the pulse of offending clients, measuring reactions to the services provided, identifying the challenges faced by clients, and proposing appropriate solutions in collaboration with partners from federal and local government entities, private sector companies, and relevant foreign embassies.

Additionally, they track any violations by typing centers and take necessary legal action to ensure a supportive environment for delivering status correction services, guaranteeing that targeted violators have full opportunities to settle their status. Additionally, they monitor any violations committed by certain printing offices as they occur and take legal action, accordingly, aiming to create a conducive working environment across all channels providing status settlement services and ensuring that targeted offenders have a full opportunity to correct their statuses.
