On Tuesday morning (March 21, 2023), the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, represented by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, represented by the Department of Consular Services. The meeting aimed at enhancing joint cooperation and ways to activate consular cooperation agreements between UAE and other countries to serve the citizens of the country and the nationals of other countries residing in UAE or visiting it.
During the meeting, Ali Al-Awadi, Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation at the Authority, welcomed the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressing the importance of the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and its important role in supporting the system of smart services provided by the Authority to customers. He also praised the role played by the ministry in promoting the level of UAE passport competitiveness and its role in caring for UAE nationals abroad, in addition to supporting the efforts of the Authority and the country in caring for nationals of other countries residing in UAE or visiting it and providing them with proactive services.
The meeting was attended by Fayez Al Ketbi, Captain Saeed Al Mansouri and Salma Al Mansouri from the side of the Authority.
