The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security received a visit from a delegation from the diplomatic mission of the United Kingdom in the United Arab Emirates, at the Authority’s main headquarters in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The visit took place within the framework of discussing ways to enhance cooperation, reviewing a number of issues within areas of common interest, and identifying the package of activities provided by the Authority within the residency services and foreigners’ affairs.
His Excellency Major General Sultan Yousef Al Nuaimi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs at the Authority, met with His Excellency Sophia Bricknell, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom at the British Embassy in the UAE, and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed all affairs and initiatives related to the system of services provided to different entities. The meeting also tackled the development of existing government cooperation paths and ways to improve them in a manner that enhances the flexibility of the services provided, as well as exchanging supportive views towards consolidating joint frameworks and implementation mechanisms to meet the aspirations aimed at enhancing customer happiness.
The meeting was attended by a several members of the UK Embassy in Abu Dhabi, as well as officials from the Authority.
