During its 1st 2018 Meeting,
ICA’s Board of Directors has stressed the significance of supporting the initiatives to be held in 2018 under the name of the founder “Year of Zayed”. This would accordingly give an impetus to ICA’s affiliates towards submitting their initiatives, thus asserting the values instilled by the late founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose has been always collocated with giving. Furthermore, ICA’s Board of Directors stressed the need to create a conducive career environment for ICA’s affiliates together with providing support required for carrying out these initiatives.
During the First Board Meeting held in 2018 and presided by H.E. Ali Mohammed Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Governing Board, several topics were reviewed in relation to developing services in ICA; to resume the development and upgrading scheme. These steps are meant to conform to the requirements necessary for supporting economic and tourism development, whilst consolidating partnership and honoring ICA’s approaching commitments, especially towards EXPO 2020.
The Board has also tackled a number of topics related to ICA’s new Emirates ID card, through reviewing ICA’s logo and dress code for its military affiliates, along with the accomplishments in respect of ICA’s governing regulations and staff.
Furthermore, the Board has reviewed a summary of final accounts for ICA’s 2017 budget as well as major projects in progress, whilst making necessary recommendations.
