“ICA” organizes the “Emirati Women in Identity and Citizenship”

Praised the role of its employees in achieving excellence and leadership

Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship organized the “Emirati Woman in Identity and Citizenship” forum in cooperation with Emirati Women’s Day, which is celebrated by the state on August 28 of each year in recognition of the Emirati women’s pioneering role in building the nation and to accomplish achievements in various fields, which are a source of pride before all countries.

ICA congratulated all its employees on this occasion, in recognition of their outstanding efforts, their dedication to performing their tasks efficiently, and their active role in ICA’s journey and their contributions which enabled it to achieve excellence and improve performance and achieve its objectives and aspirations.

ICA confirmed in the opening speech, represented by HE Brigadier Mansoor Ahmed Al Dhaheri, ICA’s Acting Director-General that “Emirati Women’s Day”, which was directed by HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, High President of Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, to be celebrated on 28 August each year, is a station for the appreciation of Emirati women’s achievements who demonstrated their strong presence and effective contribution to serving their country in various fields of work. They established Inspiring success stories at all worksites and have proven to be highly efficient and responsible.

ICA noted that this year’s celebration of Emirati Women’s Day under the theme “Women in Zayed Approach” chosen by “Umm Al Emarat”, which gives Emirati women special attention to enhance their active role in the overall cultural renaissance witnessed by the State, reaffirms the role of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in establishing the march of women in UAE and his wise insightful vision that women represent half of society and any country that wants to build itself can not abandon half of it. His Highness Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their brothers Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates followed the steps of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

ICA extended Greetings and appreciation to Emirati women all over the state, especially the mothers and wives of martyrs, where the generations will continue to enjoy the fruits of their sacrifices, and inspire the nation’s sons with the meanings of dignity and pride. They were the best examples of loyalty, sacrifice, giving, and patience, for the great strength and cohesion they showed when they lost their dearest sons, for their great awareness and belief that our martyrs sacrificed the most precious thing they own, their lives, in order to protect the homeland, and met their Makers well-pleased and well-pleasing.

 

Director of Strategic and Future Department, Khawla Al Tayer, opened the first session of the forum with a presentation on her career and literature. She reviewed the most important stations in her career and beginnings in literary writing. The audience listened to selected texts from Al Tayer’s writings, during which she recited a number of her creative writings in the areas of prose and the Nabataean poem, and focused on motivating her colleagues to have positive energy, self-confidence, and motivating them to be optimistic and reject the negative energy to reach what they desire.

Ms. Heba Abbas, Head of Customer Relations Section, reviewed her professional career in ICA and praised the support provided by ICA to its employees to develop their capabilities and potentials through their participation in various projects and initiatives organized by ICA. They have become active female employees in the field of training and knowledge transfer to their colleagues, thanks to ICA’s environment that supports creativity and innovation.

Female employee Amani Al Nuaimi, customer happiness chief administration Officer, confirmed at the third session the importance of women’s efforts to learn and acquire diverse experiences and skills to achieve their goals and to become aware of their basic position in the society, which makes them feel confident and enhance the main role in their society, and increase their positive impact in their surrounding environment.

ICA’s customer Happiness Centers celebrated this occasion, where Khalifa City Center, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Dhaid organized activities in which the centers managed to distribute bouquets of roses and letters of thanks which included positive and motivational words to the employees in recognition of their dedication to work and their outstanding efforts in providing the finest services.
