This will contribute to the development of work and the creation of solutions to the challenges and readiness for future changes.

Participants at the workshop, presented by Major Faisal Bin Belaila, Director of Strategic Planning Department at Dubai Residency, and female employees Mariam Al Sabri and Rawdah Bin Dasmal, were briefed about the most important concepts, instructions, models, and guidelines regarding the use of tools of future shaping.

During the workshop, which was held in the main building of ICA in Abu Dhabi over two days, the lecturers stressed the importance of applying the approach of future-shaping and using the advanced scientific methods to make sound decisions and utilize the best future opportunities.

The participants listened to a detailed explanation of future-shaping tools and techniques via a presentation of future scenarios on ID card issuance, which represent thoughtful hypotheses covering a wide range of possibilities and a framework that enables ICA to get prepared for the future better in this field, and the attendants participated in analyzing the implications of each scenario.
