The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship briefed a delegation from Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs about its best practices in the field of innovation during a visit made by a delegation from the Organization to the headquarters of the Authority in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
Captain Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Head of Innovation Section, briefed the visiting delegation about the Authority’s strategy for creativity and innovation, and its prominent initiatives and projects in this field. He also reviewed the mechanisms adopted by ICA to support its environment of innovation. He stressed the importance of recognizing the capabilities of employees and their creative potential through effective performance programs, which contribute to enabling the organizations to implement their projects and achieve their strategic objectives in a quality and efficient manner.
During the meeting, the two entities stressed the importance of focusing on activating the creative and innovative thinking aspects among employees and encouraging them to put creative ideas that contribute to enabling organizations from the qualitative transition towards the best and achieve superiority and excellence in various fields and provide services that exceed the expectations of its customers.
The delegation also listened to an explanation about the system of creative ideas Bank, which ICA makes it available to its employees and customers through its website, in order to enable them to present their ideas and suggestions about their services and initiatives, and to deal with them efficiently according to documented approach, study and discuss them accurately, and then follow up the implementation of the feasible ideas and suggestions under the supervision of specialized and trained cadres.
At the end of the visit, the female employees’ Sheikha Al Dhahnani and Moza Al Obaidli from the Strategy and Future Department accompanied the delegation in a tour in the Center of Creativity and Innovation, which was established by ICA at its headquarters in Khalifa City according to the best international standards, during which they briefed them on its sections and halls, and the latest technical equipment that aims to provide the suitable environment for the employees of the Authority in particular, and employees of the government sector, in general, to think out of the box, to provide ideas that contribute to the development of performance to the best levels.
