The Higher Management Committee at the Emirates Identity Authority has approved the training plan for 2011, which is aimed at providing the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees with the required knowledge, job skills and experiences for doing their jobs in the best way and ensuring the development of the methods they employ to raise the efficiency and productivity and improve the performance of the departments they work for.
The training plan, prepared by the HR Department, adopts the vision of “excellence in work and preparation of training courses of high efficiency to develop human resources”. It also seeks to fulfill a mission to the effect of “developing, improving and raising the efficiency of employees in all departments and sections.”
This was announced during the 37th regular meeting of the Higher Management Committee, which was held on Wednesday (today) at the head office of the Emirates Identity Authority. The meeting, chaired by H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, was attended by the executive directors and a number of managers and heads of sections.
The committee listened to a presentation submitted by the Department of Communications and Information Systems about the plan of projects intended by the Management to be carried out until 2013 which are based on the strategic objectives emanating from the Emirates Identity Authority’s strategy 2010-2013.
The Committee discussed a number of topics raised by the Population Register Department, the most outstanding of which was the handover of ID cards to the concerned applicants. The committee also discussed a number of proposals aimed at seeking effective solutions for dealing with the challenge resulting from the noticeable increase in the daily rates of registration in ID cards and population register as well as the ongoing rise in the number of printed cards.
