H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has stressed the importance of streamlining the role of the Financial Affairs Department by tracking the expenditures of each department and keeping regular communication with all the Emirates Identity Authority’s departments so that their expenditures and the budget earmarked for the subsequent period are clearly shown with the aim of ensuring that the budget is spent in an organized manner in line with the relevant financial items.
During the meeting of the Higher Management Committee which was held under his championship to complete the discussion of the Emirates Identity Authority’s budget for the coming year, Al Khouri instructed that special items be allocated for the Emirates Identity Authority’s strategic projects as well as significant construction projects. He also instructed that the presentation on expenditures be modified so that the distribution of these expenditures on the items related to the Emirates Identity Authority’s major projects would be clarified.
Al Khouri highlighted the importance for all the concerned departments to co-operate and play a prominent role in finalizing the budget on time, stressing the necessity for being extremely careful in dealing with the figures indicated in the budget before being submitted to the next meeting of the Emirates Identity Authority’s board of directors.
The meeting reviewed the revenues expected to be generated from registration fees according to the expected registration rates in the Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated registration centers and preventive medicine centers. It also reviewed the different items of the budget which were divided as per the objectives set in the Emirates Identity Authority’s new strategy 2010-2013.

Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of Population Register, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Al Hosani, Director of Budget and Reports, and Mrs. Khawala Al Tayer, HR Director.
