The Emirates Identity Authority has announced the launch of linkage of the ID card registration procedure with the Preventive Medicine Centre in Dibba Al Hisn from Sunday, March 6, 2011 and with the Preventive Medicine Centre in Al Dhaid from Monday, March 7, 2011.
Linkage in this stage will be limited to the Preventive Medicine and Emirates Identity Authority, excluding the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, as part of a trial stage that prepares for gradual expansion after all Sharjah-related cases have been studied and handled and until work in all Sharjah-affiliated centers has been completed.
This was announced during the co-ordination meeting held by the Emirates Identity Authority with the Preventive Medicine Department in Dibba Al Hisn to discuss activation of linkage of medical examination procedures in Al Dhaid and Dibba Al Hisn centers.
During the meeting, the Emirates Identity Authority expressed its thanks and appreciation of the Preventive Medicine Department in Sharjah for its sincere efforts and prominent role in making a success of this strategic project of the Emirates Identity Authority.
According to the linkage process, the applicant will visit an authorized typing office to get the preventive medicine form and the ID card registration form printed. The typing offices will guide applicants to get the two forms printed in one visit in a bid to ease procedures for applicants and help them avoid visiting typing offices again.
Following this step, the customer will visit the Preventive Medicine Centre in Dibba Al Hisn or Al Dhaid for medical examination before he/she directly goes to the Identity Registration Center in Al Dhaid or the Identity Office in Dibba Al Hisn, which is located inside the Preventive Medicine Center, so as to complete the ID card registration procedures and get the sealed registration receipt, which is one of the conditions for receiving the medical examination certificate, once issued.
The meeting was attended from the Preventive Medicine Department by Mr. Abdul Razaq Rasheed, Director of Preventive Medicine in Sharjah, and Mr. Mohammed Mohammed Al Muhallabi, Director of Preventive Medicine Center in Dibba Al Hisn, and from EIMAS by Bashir Al Ashi, Person in Charge of Sharjah and Northern Emirates Centers, and Suhaila Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director of Dibba Centers.
The meeting was also attended from the Emirates Identity Authority by Mr. Mohamed Al Nashar, Director of Preventive Medicine Project, Mr. Ismael Fadhlullah, Director of Registration Centers in Dubai and Northern Emirates, and Mr. Omer Al Maamari, Project Co-ordinator for Sharjah and Northern Emirates.
