The General Directorate for Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – RAs Al-Khaimah has launched the UAE PASS initiative as the sole digital identity to access government services. The initiative aims to raise awareness among employees and customers about the importance of digital identity. A digital platform was launched to open accounts for both employees and customers. Many benefited from the platform to accelerate their government transactions. The platform was launched by HE Major General Sultan Yousif Al Nuaimi, executive director of GDRFA in Ras Al-Khaimah. Several directors, employees, and customers witnessed the launch.
The initiative aims to cope with the UAE government aspirations towards complete digital transformation of all government services on the level of employees and customers, and to disseminate the culture of electronic and smart transactions towards the ultimate goal of a paperless society.
