The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship “ICA” held the third laboratory session to foresight the future of the Residence Experiment, in the presence of His Excellency Major General Saeed Rakan Al Rashidi, Director-General of Foreigners Affairs and Ports, and with the participation of youth councils of the ICA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Ministry of Health & Prevention. The session has been further attended by a wide range of directors and heads of departments for the various sectors of the concerned authority, to discuss the future of services for people arriving to UAE until the year 2035, as part of the State’s preparation for the next 50 years.
The interactive lab approached the future anticipations of the life cycle of the services provided to the UAE residents in terms of services content, and delivery channels, pursuant to ICA endeavors for realizing the aspirations of UAE wise leadership to be the best global attractive destination for qualifications and intellects in various sciences, innovations and techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and a preferred environment for large foreign investments, towards enhancing UAE vision in building a competitive knowledge economy.
It should be noted that the ICA’s Strategy and Future Department has launched a series of Future Foresight Specialized Laboratories aiming to establish strategies, develop future plans and scenarios in preparation for the next 50 years towards achieving the UAE Centennial 2071.
