The Executive Affairs Board of General Directorate of Nationality in Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has affirmed the need to innovate more electronic and smart services provided by ICA in this field, which positively reflects the satisfaction rates of citizens and facilitates all procedures related to the family books and passports.

This came during the seventh meeting of the Board in 2018, which held at the headquarters of ICA, headed by Brigadier general Suhail Jumaa Al Khaili, Acting Director-General of Nationality, in the presence of Brigadier Saeed Rashid Al Yamahi, Director of Nationality Directorate in Fujairah, Brigadier General Hamad Hamad Al Za’abi, Director of RAK Nationality Directorate.

The Board discussed the ways to upgrade the smart services system to support the smart transformation in line with the “UAE Government’s Electronic and Smart Transfer Program” and the projects completed during 2018. He also reviewed a presentation presented by the First Lieutenant Mona Buksha on performance indicators in the General Directorate of Nationality, where the presentation showed a significant improvement and development in such indicators in various projects and initiatives implemented by the Directorate.

During the meeting, the Board directed to give the utmost attention to the customer’s happiness through the development of mechanisms for services evaluation, monitoring the shortcomings, if any, addressing them in a radical and fully considered manner, and overcoming any gaps or challenges that might impede this trend. The Board also reviewed the other topics on his agenda and took the appropriate decisions.
