“Executive Affairs Board of Nationality” confirms the implementation of “Open Door” Policy Wednesday 19 September 2018

The Executive Affairs Board of General Directorate of Nationality in Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has affirmed the importance of implementing the open door policy in all departments in response to the directives of the wise leadership of the state, which constantly emphasizes the need to pay attention to the customers and give them the utmost importance, assess their needs and listen to their observations.

The Board urged all departments in Nationality Sector to pay the highest attention to the level of services provided in the customer happiness centers as the main interface and outlet through which ICA provides its services and contact directly with its customers.

This came during the fourth meeting of the Board in 2018, which was held at the headquarters of Directorate in Abu Dhabi and headed by Brigadier Suhail Jumaa Al-Khaili Acting Director General of Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the presence of the executive directors of General directorates directors of departments.

The Board pointed out that ICA has become one of the distinguished entities in the field of developing its services to levels exceeding the expectations of the customer and achieve satisfaction and happiness, which requires all its people to be careful to maintain these achievements and redouble efforts to maximize them through attention to customers, assess their needs and requirements and overcome the obstacles that they may face, facilitate their access to services and shorten the time and effort necessary to accomplish them.

The Board invited the departments to organize periodic meetings with customers and members of the local community so that these meetings are brainstorming sessions to generate ideas that contribute to the development of performance and improve services to higher levels that are consistent with the state’s developments in various fields.

During the meeting, the Board discussed the operation indicators of the General Directorate of Nationality and the results achieved in its various projects, activities and services. He directed the development and adoption of the operational indicators for each organizational units in the Directorate, reviewed a number of topics on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions.
