Emirates Identity Authority sponsors Achievement conference

Marking the UAE 40th National Day, the Emirates Identity Authority is sponsoring the GCC Government Organizations and Leaders Achievement Conference, which kicked off on Tuesday, November 29 at the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai and continues for 2 days.

The Emirates Identity Authority’s sponsorship of this conference comes as part of its strategic plan aimed at contributing to enriching the intellectual and knowledge-related activities in the UAE and stressing the keenness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s Higher Management on enhancing the strategic partnership relations between the Emirates Identity Authority and all the organizations operating in the UAE.

The conference, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development and the Ministry of Public Works and organized by Datamatix, sees the participation of a large number of government organizations and departments as well as an elite group of spokesmen and experts including:

H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University, Dr. Zakaria Hajras, CEO of Bahrain’s Al Watan Newspaper, Dr. Nasser Al Mashari, eGovernment expert and information security advisor, and Bilal Rabi’a Al Budoor, Assistant Deputy of Arts and Culture, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development.

On its first day, the conference will discuss a number of topics including the most prominent lessons learned from Zayed’s school, philosophy and development vision of leadership and corporate governance strategies.

The second day will witness a discussion of a successful field study dealing with the Emirates Identity Authority’s achievements and the most outstanding lessons learned from the first-line leaderships to the third-line and fourth-line leaderships of government organizations; what is after tomorrow; strategies of developing government organizations and leaderships to benefit from modern technology, progress and achievements marking the UAE 40th National Day.
