The Emirates Identity Authority has signed a co-operation and strategic partnership agreement with the Dubai eGovernment Department aimed at optimizing the use of the population register system and ID card project through developing and activating electronic linkage between the Emirates Identity Authority and all Dubai government entities.
The agreement reflects the two parties’ endeavor to upgrade government services and push the UAE comprehensive development forward with Dubai eGovernment committing itself to introducing the central applications and infrastructure required for integrating with the project of digital identity applications, which is being implemented by the Emirates Identity Authority.
The agreement was signed by H.E. Ahmed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment, and H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, at Dubai eGovernment headquarters in HH Dubai Ruler’s Court today.
