The Emirates Identity Authority participated in the annual world conference of Morpho system users, which was held in Washington between May 24 and 27, 2011 with the participation of around 700 people from over 70 countries.
The conference discussed a number of dedicated topics including ID management systems and security management systems for borders and air, sea and land points of entry and exit in addition to protection systems for vital installations.
The Emirates Identity Authority presented a working paper to the conference on the efforts exerted to streamline the ID system in the UAE and the lessons derived from them.
Meanwhile, the Morpho-affiliated companies made presentations on their latest products in the field of security systems and biometric identification systems while the delegations participating in the conference made presentations on the progress of work at their respective ID projects.
The Emirates Identity Authority was represented in this conference by Mr. Shukri Al Buraiki, Creativity and Development Director at the Population Register Department.
