The Emirates Identity Authority participated in the activities of the 7th Cultural Caravan, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development in Al Taiyibah and Al Khulaibiya, Fujairah.
Two registration devices were showcased in the Emirates Identity Authority’s booth where the Emirates ID’s staff registered a number of applicants in the population register and ID cards. The Emirates Identity Authority also showcased the mobile registration vehicle.
A large number of people visited the Emirates Identity Authority’s booth and their inquiries focused on both registration and renewal processes. A number of contest questions prepared by the Emirates Identity Authority’s Public Relations and Marketing Department were posed to children and gifts were distributed on those who gave correct answers.
The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the 7th Cultural Caravan helped increase the applicants’ awareness of the importance of ID card, explain the significance of typing offices in the current stage and build excellent relations with a number of local and federal departments.
Mr. Abdul Aziz Sultan Al Maamari, Director of Public Relations and Marketing Department at the Emirates Identity Authority, hailed the initiative and the support it received from the prudent leadership. He also praised the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development’s efforts to ensure the arrival of its caravans to the inhabitants of remote areas across the UAE where the people’s heritage would be recorded.
Al Maamari reaffirmed that the Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in this caravan came in continuation of its participation in the many cultural caravans previously organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development and stemmed from its keenness on contributing to the success of such significant social activities.
