The Emirates Identity Authority participated in the 1st Excellence Forum of Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program, which was organized by the Ministry of Interior at Abu Dhabi Police Officers Club on May 10 and 11, 2011.
Welcoming the participants in the forum, Major General Dr. Abdulqudoos Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Director of the General Department of Total Quality at Dubai Police and Head of Sheikh Khalifa Government excellence Program at Ministry of Interior, pointed out that the Ministry of Interior’s strategy contributed to preparing a new generation of young national cadres and promising modern leaderships, developing them and launching their creative energies.
He affirmed that the ministry was building teams in search for excellent leaderships made out of experiences, skills, tests and knowledge, adding that these leadership would lead the teams and ensure the convey of experiences and interaction among the members of these teams for the purpose of reaching excellent performance.
Later, Al Obaidly made a presentation of the Ministry of Interior’s experience in the field of spreading the leadership culture and rendering it a practical practice. He clarified that since 2000 the ministry adopted a strategic plan, 7-point plan, under which leaderships would participate in workshops and lectures for formulating a modern strategy based on the world’s best practices and applications and the supreme leadership would spread the knowledge culture and exchange the best practices to develop all UAE ministries.
The Emirates Identity Authority was represented in this forum by Samia Al Sheikh, Acting Director of Planning, and Aysha Al Raisi, Projects Manager.
