The move is aimed at maintaining high registration rates in July and August and ensuring that the capacity of these centers is fully utilized.

The Higher Management Committee discussed boosting co-ordination between the Emirates Identity Authority and the company assigned to carry out the e-form project in the field of the prior appointment system so that the company would undertake that the appointments set by the Emirates Identity Authority would be daily sent to customers. The committee also proposed that a dedicated team be formed for managing appointments according to this mechanism, thereby ensuring the harmony of work and pave the way for its success.

The committee called on all its departments to co-ordinate with the Media Department at the Emirates Identity Authority before any new services are launched so as to ensure that customers would be informed of these services well in advance of their official launch.

Meanwhile, the committee stressed the necessity to speed up developing the transaction status inquiry service through the Emirates Identity Authority’s website and to introduce new communication channels such as the interactive voice response.

The committee also highlighted the necessity for the leaves of the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees, particularly those working in registration centers and internal verification offices, to be regulated in the two coming months for the purpose of ensuring the continuity of work and maintaining the high registration rates.
