Emirates ID registers inmates from “Al Ain Reformatory”

The Emirates Identity Authority registered a number of inmates from Al Ain Punitive and Reformatory Establishment in the ID card during a visit organized yesterday by Al Ain Registration Center as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s initiatives emanating from its strategic plan 2010-2013.

The initiative, which was based on the directives of the Emirates Identity Authority’s Higher Management Committee, was aimed at providing distinguished services to all categories and sections of the UAE society including the inmates of the punitive and reformatory establishments who cannot register for ID cards according to the observed procedures.

The Emirates Identity Authority’s team received the necessary support from the people in charge of Al Ain Punitive and Reformatory Establishment. The registration procedures were attended by First Lieutenant Suroor Al Nuaimi, Inmates Affairs Branch Manager, who helped surmount all the difficulties and provide the ingredients necessary for completing the registration of the inmates in the ID card.

The Emirates Identity Authority’s team included Mohammed Al Buraiki, Al Ain Verification Office Supervisor, Abdul Aziz Al Alawi, Network Engineer, and Saeed Al Kutbi, Registration Administrator.
