Sharjah Registration Center has presented the Emirates Identity Authority Shield to His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler, on the occasion of the UAE celebrations of the safe return of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, following his recovery.
This was announced during the visit of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler, to the Emirates Identity Authority’s stand at Sharjah University Theatre as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the Popular Ceremony, which was organized by the “Initiatives of Union Conscience’s Sons” under the slogan of “Union Conscience, In Love with Sultan” over the past three days.
On behalf of H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, the shield was presented to His Highness Sheikh Sultan by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Ahmed Bin Rasheed, Director of Sharjah Registration Center, who conveyed the blessings of the Emirates Identity Authority’s family on His Highness Sharjah Ruler’s safe return home from a medical trip in France.
The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the ceremony came as part of its keenness on being part of the celebrations and the joy that overwhelmed the UAE on this occasion. It is also a reflection of the happiness of every individual living in the UAE about the recovery of a man known for his nobility of character and humanitarian behavior.
On the sidelines of its participation in the ceremony, the Emirates Identity Authority’s stand received Sheikh Salem Bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Director of the Office of His Highness Sharjah Ruler, and H.E. Mohammed Juma Abdul Rahman Bin Hindi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council, to whom Bin Rasheed gave an adequate explanation about the Emirates Identity Authority’s activities and efforts exerted to implement its strategic plan 2010-2013 for completing the population register and ID card project.
