The Emirates Identity Authority participated in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the 10th ID WORLD International Congress 2011, which concluded in Milan, Italy, yesterday Friday.
Mr. Abdul Aziz Sultan Al Maamari, Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Emirates Identity Authority, said: “The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in this exhibition side by side with a large number of world-reputed digital ID technology companies and an elite group of technological solution developers comes in continuation of the Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the previous editions of this outstanding global congress.”
Participating in the “ID exhibition” held on the sidelines of the congress gave the Emirates ID delegation members an opportunity to view the latest smart ID card technologies and be familiar with the electronic personal ID verification systems, Al Maamari added.
Later, A’isha Ahmed Al Raisi, member of the Emirates ID delegation participating in the congress, gave a brief introductory explanation of the Emirates Identity Authority’s new strategy 2010-2013 to the members of the other delegations participating in the congress during their visit of the Emirates ID’s stand.
She also reviewed the most outstanding projects and initiatives, which the Emirates ID’s strategy is composed of, as well as its role in upgrading customer services and its success in easing the registration procedures in ID card and population register.
It is noteworthy that the participation of the Emirates Identity Authority’s delegation in the 10th ID WORLD International Congress comes as embodiment of the Higher Management’s directives and keenness on honoring distinguished employees from all Emirates ID service points across the UAE and giving them an opportunity to be familiar with the world’s best practices in the scope of their work so as to develop their knowledge and upgrade their experiences.
