Emirates ID participates in Cultural Caravans Forum in consolidation of national identity

ABU DHABI – The Emirates Identity Authority has participated in the 9thCultural Caravans Forum in Shaam, Ras Al Khaimah, as part of its ongoing efforts to communicate with the UAE people and familiarize them with its mission, objectives and values.

The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the forum, which was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ras Al Khaimah Crown Prince, came as part of its keenness on supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development aimed at maintaining the national identity, enhancing the values of national and community cohesion and extending bridges of co-operation with the other government entities.

The forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development as part of the program of the cultural caravans initiative, is aimed at achieving the comprehensive cultural and community development across the UAE through the heritage and theatrical shows held to pay tribute to the cultural and local traditions.

The 2-day forum, which concluded on the day before yesterday, was attended by around 10,000 visitors from various areas of Ras Al Khaimah including Shaam, Ghalilah, Wadi Shaam and Al Jeer.

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development honored all the entities and authorities that participated in the forum for the efforts they exerted to make a success of the event.

The Emirates Identity Authority was represented in the forum by Ali Mohamed Al Hammadi, Public Relations and Activities Co-ordinator, Ahlam Al Shehi and Hiba Al Hassouni from Ras Al Khaimah Registration Center, and Sameer Mabrook from the Public Relations and Marketing Section.
