The Emirates Identity Authority has decided to launch through its website an inter-office monthly contest for its employees from December. The contest, titled “Our Strategy is our Identity.. Answer and Consider it Done”, is initiated by the team of ambassadors of human resources investors concerned with disseminating corporate cultural and knowledge-related awareness among the Emirates Identity Authority’s human resources.
The contest, for which the Emirates Identity Authority allocated valuable in-kind monthly prizes, is aimed at motivating the employees to understand the Emirates Identity Authority’s strategy 2010-2013 as part of the Emirates ID’s bid to apply the standards of human resources investors to be among the top federal entities which are internationally recognized by the International Association for Human Resources Investors.
A sub-committee was formed by the team of human resources investors under the chairmanship of Musabbeh Al Masamri, Director of Fujairah Registration Center, and was tasked with preparing questions, determining the correct answers and selecting the winners in a fair and random way that ensures that all the correct answers have equal opportunities of winning.
The Emirates Identity Authority clarified that the questions of the contest would be offered through its website to measure how far the employees understand the strategy of their authority and the roles they are expected to play in integration with this strategy.
The Emirate Identity Authority previously distributed a handbook documenting its strategy for 2010-2013 and held many seminars and workshops for its organizational units and employees to disseminate and explain this strategy in the best way.
The launch of the contest was announced during a meeting held at the Emirates Identity Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Khawala Al Tayer, Acting Executive Director of Administrative Affairs and Relations, and was attended by the team members of the human resources investors.
