Wednesday 22 February 2012

The Emirates Identity Authority has joined the membership of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) in a step that will enable it to use the EFQM Excellence Model to achieve an excellent world-class administrative and corporate performance.

In the upcoming period the Emirates Identity Authority is planning to take advantage of the sources provided by the EFQM for further enhancing excellence criteria and attaining the highest levels that the EFQM member organizations succeeded to reach.

The EFQM provides its members with the opportunity to benefit from its excellence model through learning and applying the best practices that reflect positively on employees and help improve performance levels, considering that the excellence model offers a working language in a joint framework for easy exchange of information and expertise among the member organizations.

The EFQM excellence model is the world’s most widespread and successful models for building a quality system for organizations, thanks to the major role that the EFQM played in supporting around 30,000 organizations worldwide to achieve sustainable excellence.

The Belgium-based EFQM is composed of a network of agencies and organizations that share the same ambitions of benefiting from excellence programs and models. These agencies and organizations encourage the world’s best practices and convert the resultant knowledge into practical resources to the benefit of all 500-plus members coming from 55 countries.
