Emirates ID hands prizes over to winners of National Day cultural contest

The Emirates Identity Authority handed its prizes over to the 5 winners of its cultural contest for last November, which allowed the participants 5 opportunities to win AED5,000 and 4 iPads 2, marking the 40th UAE National Day.

Ahmed Mohammed Al Kaabi, a UAE national, won the monthly prize of AED5,000, while Ashwin Jerome Fernandez, Mohammed Ali Haji, Thani Mohammed Al Ghafri and Abdullah Yasser Abada won an iPad each.

Expressing their happiness about winning the Emirates Identity Authority’s cultural contest prizes, the 5 winners underlined their keenness on constantly participating in the contest.

The Emirates Identity Authority called on the visitors of its website to participate constantly in its regular cultural contest, which allows them to enter a monthly raffle draw for winning AED5,000.

The Emirates Identity Authority launched the cultural contest on its website in February 2011 with the aim of enhancing the channels of communication with the public and establishing a new connecting link with the society.

The Emirates Identity Authority’s questions of its cultural contest centered on developing the national identity in the society and consolidating its values based on the constants on which the Emirates Identity Authority was established. The national identity is regarded as a priority that every individual of the society should be armed with wherever he/she is.

It is noteworthy that the winner of the contest is selected by a random electronic raffle draw using the website, www.random.org, after the correct answers have been sorted out.
