In the framework of the efforts exerted by Emirates ID to build and enhance active partnerships with different relevant authorities, a delegation form the Emirates ID headed by His Excellency Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Emirates ID’s Acting General Director met with His Excellnecy Thani Abdullah Al Zafeen, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai eGovernment and Chief Executive officer of DATEL company, Dubai.
The meeting discussed the most prominent broad outlines for the project of improving the services provided by the Emirates ID in general and, in particular, the new registration strategy which aims at enabling the Authority to achieve its goals by registering all citizens and residents in the Population Register & Identity Card System and activating the uses of identity card in various fields.
The meeting also reviewed the work mechanism for the unified registration form, which will contribute to facilitating procedures and speeding up services provided by three main authorities: Department of Naturalization & Residence, Ministry of Labor, Emirates Identity Authority as well as the fourth authority represented in departments of preventive medicine.
On the other hand, the two parties discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in the field of eGovernment project, which will depend on the identity card and also discussed the role of Dubai eGovernment in this field. They also touched upon the best ways and initiatives that would enhance cooperation between the Emirates ID and eGovernment and DATEL Company aiming to build the active strategic partnership among such authorities.
The meeting has been attended by His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Emirates ID’s Executive Director of Communications & Information Systems and DATEL’s Director of Operations Sector and a number of directors working in the company.
