H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, opened the Digital ID World Middle East 2011 Conference and Exhibition, which kicked off today (Tuesday) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and would continue for 2 days.
Accompanied by the executive directors, Al Khouri made a tour of a number of booths participating in the exhibition where he was familiarized with the latest technological products as showcased by the world’s major companies specializing in smart card identification systems including applications and software that serve different sectors such as the government sector, banking sector and telecommunication sector.
It is worthwhile that the Emirates Identity Authority is currently implementing a number of strategic projects aimed at promoting the ingredients of both the national security and individual security, supporting the decision-making process and developing the service system, specifically in the government sector.
