In continuation of the regular visits paid by the Higher Management to the different registration centers across the UAE, H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has paid an inspection visit to Al Rashidiya Registration Center in Dubai.
The visit comes as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s keenness on ensuring that the fieldwork mode of thinking is firmly established and reflected on the performance of executive directors and managers by intensifying field visits to worksites, irrespective of their geographic locations, in a bid to ensure the maximum degree of effective communication with the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees and with customers and applicants.
During his field visit to Al Rashidiya Registration Center, Al Khouri was briefed on the actual status of registrations in ID card and population register in order to be familiar with the adopted mechanism of registration nearly 18 months after the project for re-engineering registration procedures was implemented.
Al Khouri expressed his satisfaction with the great results and the rising number of the registrations, particularly after the appointment system had been developed and a large number of e-form applicants had abided by the appointments they received through SMS as soon as they filled out their e-forms.
During his meeting with the center’s family, Al Khouri reiterated the keenness of the Higher Management at the Emirates Identity Authority on dealing seriously and with great attention with the employees’ creative ideas in line with the Emirates ID’s strategy, which treats the development of human resources as the most significant theme in its development plan aimed at upgrading the general performance at the Emirates Identity Authority.
Al Khouri called on all employees to continue to work as one team due to the fact that they are the most prominent component in the Emirates Identity Authority’s series of achievements. He clarified that it is the employees who make a difference in any achievement and that the role of the Higher Management at the Emirates Identity Authority is to draft policies, cater for potentials and create the work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
Meanwhile, Al Khouri met a number of applicants and customers and listened to their opinions as regards the services provided at the center.
He underlined the necessity for the center management and all the staff working in it to treat the different sections of applicants and customers in the same prestigious and attentive manner, irrespective of any other considerations, out of a sense of responsibility, exercise of duty and a bid to maintain the Emirates Identity Authority’s reputation and position.
Al Khouri instructed that all the remarks and suggestions received from applicants and customers be reviewed one by one and dealt with most seriously and that instant solutions be worked out for the problems they face during registration.
