H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has called on the Emirates Identity Authority’s family to take lessons from the speech, which His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority, delivered during a ceremony held to honor the winners of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award in its first edition. In his speech, Sheikh Saif said the government’s quest to achieve excellence, upgrade public services and encourage all sectors to do so is not a luxury but a national and moral duty.
Al Khouri urged the Emirates Identity Authority’s executive directors, departmental directors, heads of sections and directors of registration centers to achieve excellent performance, seek innovation and focus on customers in line with the aspirations of the UAE prudent leadership and Sheikh Saif’s speech yesterday in which he indicated that “creative work has become part of the public responsibility towards people and the country, which is distinguished for its prudent leadership and noble people.”
Al Khouri believed that Sheikh Saif’s speech constitutes a station that all the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees and directors should stop by to sharpen their ambitions and show commitment to excellence.
Al Khouri called on all the Emirates Identity Authority’s directors and employees to be inspired by Sheikh Saif’s speech and adopt the values contained in it as embodied in his statement: “We must pursue excellence in appreciation of those generous hands, which have always supported us; those efforts, which our predecessors exerted in this place; those coming generations, which will replace us one day to find that we have left for them everything we could; and finally the public who placed their trust in us and assigned us to manage a number of their affairsto live a secure, safe and orderly life.”
Al Khouri also urged the Emirates Identity Authority’s directors and employees to exert all strenuous efforts to raise the Emirates ID’s profile by pursuing excellence in serving the UAE and UAE nationals and residents, enabling the Emirates ID’s family to gain the trust that Sheikh Saif talked about when addressing those distinguished employees at the Ministry of Interior by saying: “My trust in you is increasing day after day. You are the right people for the job, and thanks to our leadership’s determination, we are going forward for our establishment to be in the lead, not only in the region but in the world at large.”
