H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has called for enhancing internal communication channels with all the Emirates Identity Authority’s departments and employees.

During his meeting with the HR Department’s family members, Al Khouri stressed the importance of the Department’s role in implementing the Emirates Identity Authority’s new strategy 2010-2013 owing to the fact that it is the department concerned with human resources. The meeting was attended by Mrs. Khawala Al Tayer, HR Director, and a number of employees.

Al Khouri explained that the Higher Management at the Emirates Identity Authority looks at the HR Department’s employees as the most significant element and the driving force behind the implementation of the initiatives and projects emanating from the Emirates Identity Authority’s strategy.

Stressing the necessity for the HR Department to keep away from exercising its role in the traditional way, Al Khouri said it is important for the Department to adopt the concepts of innovation and development so as to turn into a concerned department contributing to developing work and assessing performance.

He clarified that one of the most significant responsibilities of this vital department is to contribute to establishing a work environment that stimulates creativity and innovation and picks the distinguished and creative employees of the Emirates Identity Authority to allow them all the opportunities to exercise their creativity and bring out their excellence.

Al Khouri reiterated that the HR Department is the mirror of the Emirates Identity Authority and the front part of its Higher Management, calling on all employees to stick to the morals firmly established in themselves, exercise self-restraint and deal prudently, quietly and patiently with the Emirates Identity Authority’s customers and employees.

Work in the Emirates Identity Authority resembles a beehive; responsibilities might be divided but work itself cannot, he said, adding that this would also apply to the final outcome.

Meanwhile, Al Khouri listened to the suggestions made by the HR Department’s employees and instructed that they be given utmost attention and care.
