In response to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah protect him, that a team of UAE charitable organizations and authorities be formed to co-ordinate and regulate the urgent relief aid to the flood-stricken people in the Sind territory in Pakistan, the Emirates Identity Authority has delivered the UAE Red Crescent Society the total donations of the employees of its departments and centers so as to be handed over to the victims of the floods in Pakistan.
Abdul Aziz Al Maamari, Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Emirates Identity Authority, handed a check with the total amount of the donations over to Mr. Abdul Rahman Hadi Al Hamed, Head of Administrative and Financial Affairs Section, Red Crescent Society, at the Emirates Identity Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Stressing the keenness of the Emirates Identity Authority’s family on providing all possible relief aid in favor of the humanitarian campaigns launched by the UAE based on its belief in the concept of social responsibility and its commitment to social and human issues, Al Maamari noted the role played by the Red Crescent Society as an official body representing the UAE for raising funds and delivering donations side by side with Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation and other major charitable and humanitarian foundations and authorities.
