H.E Sultan Saeed Al Badi, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Undersecretary received a delegation from the Emirates Identity Authority headed by Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Emirates ID’s Acting General Director.
The two parties discussed the possibility of applying the ID card system to all transactions carried out at ADJD and connecting the services provided by ADJD with such card system a matter which will reflect positively on the performance of ADJD due to the benefits of such a connection in terms of saving time of ADJD auditors and enabling them to achieve services at the shortest possible time.
Emirates ID’s Acting General Director commended the distinguished relations between Emirates ID and ADJD as well as the great attention paid by Emirates ID to implementing its transactions as per Federal Law 9 of 2009 concerning the Population Register & Identity Card System in terms of internal procedures and connecting internal systems including systems of verification and reading ID data by machines.
On his part, H.E Sultan Saeed Al Badi, ADJD’s Undersecretary stated that he wishes the expected connection with the ID card system and its application to the services provided by ADJD to help saving time and effort, particularly when entering data of the service applicant and reading his/her ID data. He referred to the accuracy of the data read by machine and connecting them directly with the requested transaction at the e-courts systems through the ID card.
The meeting was attended by H.E Mohamed Hassan Al Shateri Assistant Undersecretary of the Judicial Support Affairs and Rashed Sakr Al Dhaheri, IT Department Manager from the ADJD as well as H.E Hatem Al Hamly, the Chief Financial Officer from the Emirates ID.
