Emirates Identity Authority has inaugurated a center in “Etihad Plaza”, which is affiliated to Etihad Airways located in Khalifa city, Abu Dhabi, in order to enable the company’s employees to obtain the services offered by the authority; like registration, and issuing\renewing\substituting the ID card easily and as near their work place.
The center, which offers its services from 7:30 AM till 2:30 PM, encompasses three lines to provide the services of taking the fingerprints and photos, and the digital signature for the 23800 employee of the company, with daily capacity of 200 customers.
Engineer Naser Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of Service Centers Operations at the Emirates Identity Authority, who inaugurated the center along with Ray Gammell, Chief People & Performance Officer at Etihad Airways, stressed the EIDA’s constant keenness on collaborating with various institutions in the country, so as to help the authority, in such manner that saves the customers time and effort and positively reflects their level of satisfaction.
In his speech during the inauguration, Al Mazrouei praised the prudent leadership of UAE, which has adopted a globally distinct approach that takes the governmental services from the restrictions of requiring the customer to come to the institution’s office and follow the routine procedures in order to obtain the service, to a whole new space where institutions work to deliver its services in time to their customers wherever they are, spare them time and effort through multiple easy methods and fulfil their expectations.
He also stressed that EIDA is keen on coping with this developed vision, and on considering such vision in its attempt to improve its institutional system and services by keeping up with the technological developments in different fields in order to promote its performance and offer the best customer services, collaboratively with its partners from the public and private sectors
