H.E. Brigadier Mansour Ahmed Al Dhaheri, ICA’s Acting Director-General, expressed his overwhelming pride in the humane deeds of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the legacy he left to UAE people, reflected in the charitable and humanitarian works. Thanks to his deeds, the UAE people could take the lead in assisting the needy and the various peoples of the world, suffering from or affected by disasters or crises.
In a statement made during the State celebrations of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, Al Dhaheri said, “Sheikh Zayed was the owner of a unique humanitarian school, which is internally built on the concept that humans are the core of development and construction and the basis of civilization and progress. Therefore, he paid more attention to provide the highest standards of life for citizens all over the State. For him, citizens were the real asset of the homeland. This school is externally built on exerting every effort to improve the quality of life of humans and to support all initiatives to achieve this end.”
He further added “Sheikh Zayed’s generosity and magnanimity did not only limited to his people but also flourished among all nations. Thus, you can hardly find a place in the world with no sign, trace, or imprint for this human leader. His deeds prove his greatness, generosity, initiative, and constant quest to achieve the best for all humans equally. He also highlighted that H. E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a great son of a greater father, is following his father’s footsteps”.
