Ali Al Shamsi: Sustainable Excellence in Governmental Services is the Top priority inspired by the UAE Wise Leaderships

His Excellency Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship “ICA” said: “the inspirational visions generated by the UAE wise leadership and its insightful aspirations towards achieving the leading excellence in delivering the governmental services contributed to enhancing the efforts and setting the policies aiming at business development”.
Al Shamsi also added that the UAE government represented by ICA is regularly striving to harness all potentials and capabilities for generating the satisfaction of its customer to the optimal, in addition to creating an exceptional experience for them through their journey during services delivery across all ICA centers or via the sophisticated smart services platform.
Al Shamsi further said: “the UAE strategy of governmental services triggered us to lay out the strategic roadmap for ICA which focused on delivering innovative services according to the best international quality standards along with adopting the top global practices that boost the quality of life and communal security”.
These statements were released during the visit of H.E ICA chairman to Al Barsha Customers Happiness Center based in the emirate of Dubai. Al Shamsi was accompanied by His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Director General of the Cabinet’s Presidency Office, and H.E Engineer Mohammed Bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services of the UAE Government. The visit was paid on occasion of the exceptional 6 stars rating granted to Al Barsha Customers Happiness Center following approval awarded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to the official results of the 4th edition of Global Star Rating System for Services in the context of the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program. It is worth mentioning that this program included 17 ICA Customers Happiness Centers and of which Al Barsha center has been granted the top rating “6 stars” in addition to 7 other centers that achieved 5 stars rating as a breakthrough reflecting ICA approach to pursue the sustainable development within all ICA services delivery centers spanned across all emirates.
His Excellency Ali Al Shamsi and his accompanying delegation unveiled the curtain on the 6-stars board with the presence of Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Acting ICA Director General and a wide range of ICA directors and executives. He further made an inspection tour at the Centre, and he congratulated all employees for such achievement and paid a tribute to them for their strenuous efforts and devotion and dedication at work. He also placed an emphasis on the fact that ICA is highly focusing on boosting its valuable human capital and promoting their capabilities and soft skills on the basis that they are the cornerstone of growth and progress as well as the key enabler towards meeting the future targets.

Al Shamsi ended up his visit by reiterating his sincere congratulation to all ICA senior and junior staff stressing that this breakthrough is a milestone in ICA journey towards achieving top performance in line with the Governmental Excellence Model through enhancing the capabilities and designing customizable services pursuant to the UAE National Agenda and 2071 Centennial Strategy.
