The Best Entity in the Classification of Customer Service Centers for the second successive cycle

ICA wins three awards and continues the excellence competition with limitless ambition

H.E Ali Mohamed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and all ICA’s employees expressed their pride for ICA’s winning of three awards in the fifth cycle of “Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award”, under the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program. He further emphasized that the three awards seem to be pride medals that shine upon ICA’s employees’ chests, like wreaths of glory upon their heads.

In a statement for this occasion, Al Shamsi said that this achievement is a fine fruit of a fine seed, which UAE wise leadership is always seeking to instill in its citizens’ spirits, encouraging them to keep on hardworking, dedication and loyalty. This is to make UAE the home of excellence in all areas and to help it proceed forward at a steady pace to achieve its vision, ambition, and national agenda.

He added that excellence and leadership have become among the features of the government work in UAE, as the State institutions are competing with each other to achieve happiness and each institution hopes to be an active contributor to enable the State to obtain an elevated and distinguished status and reach the top of all fields and forums. He also highlighted that ICA will continue the excellence competition with limitless ambition depending on national cadres characterized with persistence and challenge, who are keen on returning the favor to their homeland and leadership for the support and care they provide to UAE citizens, to become responsible and examples of giving and excellence.

Al Shamsi greeted and commended all ICA’s employees, saying “Congratulations on your achievements that deserve pride! You were up to the challenge. You bore responsibility with honesty and honor. Your diligence, enthusiasm, and determination to excellence achieved honorable results. We are looking forward that your achievements become an incentive for more giving and redetermination to proceed forward to meet the high expectations of our wise leadership and contribute to achieving the UAE vision to become one of the best countries in the world.”

H.E stressed that ICA will exert every effort to provide all the support for all projects, initiatives, and innovative ideas that contribute to enhancing its excellence and promotion of the services it provides to its customers. This requires teamwork and keenness on performing tasks according to the highest standards of professionalism and competence. Everyone should also believe in the importance of his/her role for serving ICA and UAE, and consider work a national and honorable duty.

ICA won three awards in the categories of the Best Entity in Services Provision, Best Entity in the Classification of Service Centers, and the Best Common Service (Mabrouk Ma Yak). His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, presented the award of the Best Entity in Services Provision to H.E. Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashidi, ICA’s Acting Director of the General Directorate of Foreigners Affairs and Ports. While the award of the Best Entity in the Classification of Customer Service Centers was handed to H.E. Brigadier Mansour Ahmed Al Dhaheri, ICA’s Acting Director of the General Directorate of Identity Affairs.

It worth noting that ICA wins the Classification of Customer Service Centers award for the second consecutive year in this category, as it won it in the fourth cycle of the award in 2016. ICA won this award as four of its customer happiness centers obtained a five stars rating in the 2018 evaluation of the Global Star Rating Program for Service Classification adopted by the Government.
