Al Rashidi: Happiness of Customers in our ports is a top priority and a fundamental objective

Al Rashidi visited the Sharjah International Airport and Khatm Melaha Border port

H.E. Major General Saeed Rakan Al Rashidi, Director General of the Foreigners Affairs and Ports at ICA, emphasized that the happiness of customers at all ports of the State, whether airports, border checkpoints, or seaport, is a top priority and a fundamental objective for ICA. This is to implement the wise leadership’s vision which prioritizes people and improving their standard of living and the services provided to them.

He further said that making people happy requires efficient and faithful work and keenness on providing services in accordance with the approved standards and basis and to be inspired by the wise leadership approach in terms of diligent and continuous work, to make UAE the leader in all fields and to enhance its reputation as one of the best and most distinguished countries in the world in service provision.

Major General Al Rashidi made these statements during his tour of inspection in the Sharjah International Airport and Khatm Melaha Border port. He was received by Brigadier Arif Mohammed Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, and a number of officers.

During this tour, he was briefed on the progress of work at the airport and the Border port and met a number of the port employees and passengers and listened to their comments about the services provided there. He also discussed the ways to upgrade services to achieve the highest levels of satisfaction and happiness to customers.

Al Rashidi invited the airport and the Border port employees to draw a smile on their faces while receiving and welcoming the arriving and leaving passengers and to treat them as guests. He also asked them to apply the Year of Tolerance values while providing services, to exert every effort and to forgive mistakes that may result from exhaustion, tiredness, or travel stress and pressures, as well as to be open-minded while dealing with the different cultures and nationalities
